GetListed.org was launched on January 20, 2009 as a resource for small business owners to learn more about the way their businesses are listed online. As our Mission Statement says, our goal is "to help small businesses claim and enhance their listings at major search engines." GetListed.org currently focuses on businesses based in the United States only, but an international version of the site is in development.

We're advocates for search engine optimization best practices that will lead to sustained, long-term search engine rankings for small businesses.

To that end, we have created a Resource Center with articles featuring advice and tips about Local search engine marketing, and a directory of Local SEO companies to help small businesses find a trusted service provider to assist them in the promotion of their company online.
